HIGHWAY 29 - BEHIND THE SONG
In this video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my single "Highway 29". From late-night songwriting sessions back in 2016, to the nostalgic memories of recording country music off the radio with my dad onto cassette tapes—this song has been a long time coming.
Even though the story about the long miles, a couple expecting a child, and the struggles of being on the road is fictional, the message is 100% real: love and family matter more than anything else in this world, and no amount of highway can break a true bond.

In diesem Video nehme ich euch mit hinter die Kulissen meiner Single „Highway 29“. Von nächtlichen Songwriting-Sessions im Jahr 2016 bis hin zu nostalgischen Erinnerungen daran, wie ich gemeinsam mit meinem Vater Country-Songs aus dem Radio auf Kassette aufgenommen habe – dieser Song hat eine lange Entstehungsgeschichte.
Auch wenn die Geschichte über die endlosen Meilen, ein Paar, das ein Kind erwartet, und die Strapazen des Tourlebens fiktiv ist, ist die Botschaft zu 100 % echt: Liebe und Familie sind wichtiger als alles andere auf der Welt, und keine noch so lange Straße kann ein wahres Band zerreißen.

Das hier ist eine zu 100 % authentische Studio-Performance. Live aufgenommen, absolut ohne Bearbeitungen, ohne Gesangskorrektur (Vocal Tuning) und ohne nachträgliche Schnitte. Was du hörst, ist genau das, was im Raum passiert ist – pure, rohe und ungeschliffene Emotion.

A quiet road, a long journey, and a promise to the one waiting at home... It is a calm, acoustic-driven track about love, loyalty, and the long journeys we take. It tells the story of a traveler who, no matter how far the road takes him, always finds his way back home to his wife.

Eine ruhige Straße, eine lange Reise und ein Versprechen an die Person, die zu Hause wartet ... Ein Song über Liebe, Loyalität und die langen Wege, die wir im Leben gehen. Die Geschichte eines Reisenden, der – egal wie weit der Weg ihn führt – immer wieder den Weg nach Hause zu seiner Frau findet.

NEW STRINGS
After 9 loud, wild, and wonderful years, the collaboration between the current band lineup and myself has come to an end. Thank you for the time we shared!
Over the past four months, I have put a lot of thought into what the future will look like…
I have written so many songs over all these years, and it is time to release them! In fact, I have written four new tracks in just the last three months.
I have put together 12 tracks for my upcoming debut album ROADS. In the coming weeks, I will lock myself in the studio to record the songs and release them one by one on all platforms as soon as they are finished. After that, the album will also be released and available as a physical copy.
All songs on the debut album are currently unreleased and have not been played at any previous live concerts.
Older songs that you might have heard at one of the shows, such as "The Last Dance" or "Let Me Take You… Tonight", will be recorded and released at a later date.
Track No. 1 from the upcoming album ROADS will be released on all platforms on August 28, 2026, and is called HIGHWAY 29.

Nach 9 lauten, wilden und wunderbaren Jahren ist die Zusammenarbeit zwischen der aktuellen Bandbesetzung und mir beendet. Danke für die gemeinsame Zeit!
In den letzten vier Monaten habe ich mir viele Gedanken darüber gemacht, wie es zukünftig weitergeht…
Ich habe in all den Jahren so viele Songs geschrieben und es ist an der Zeit, diese zu veröffentlichen! Auch in den letzten drei Monaten habe ich vier neue Stücke geschrieben.
12 Titel habe ich für mein kommendes Debütalbum ROADS zusammengestellt. In den nächsten Wochen werde ich mich im Studio einschließen, um die Songs aufzunehmen und sie – sobald ein Song fertig ist – nacheinander auf allen Plattformen veröffentlichen. Danach wird das Album auch als physischer Tonträger erscheinen / erhältlich sein.
Alle Songs von dem Debütalbum sind bislang unveröffentlicht und wurden auch noch nicht bei einem der vergangenen Live-Konzerte gespielt.
Ältere Lieder, die Ihr bei einem der Konzerte gehört habt, wie z. B. „The Last Dance“ oder „Let Me Take You… Tonight“, werde ich zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt aufnehmen und veröffentlichen.
Song Nr. 1 vom kommenden Album ROADS erscheint am 28.08.26 auf allen Plattformen und heißt HIGHWAY 29.
